Electricity and Circuits- Electric Bulb

Teaching simple circuits to the Sixth Graders was interesting as they were already familiar with the concept from their previous class.

    v  To understand the structure, connections (of components) and functions of a circuit.

    v  To know the components of circuits and their symbolic representation.

    v  To identify conductors and insulators.

           v To be able to explain closed and open circuit.

Introduction of the chapter was done by reviewing previous knowledge. The ideas about Electricity, Electric circuit, Current, need for electricity etc. were collated with the help of Mindmup/ Prezi/ Piktochart etc. Upon initiation of subtopic light/ bulb, structure and working of bulb was discussed.
